I had a thread started about my merc making a funny noise and i have went through and pulled the outdrive but im stuck at how i get the shift cable bellow off. every one in my old thread said search on here but i cant find anything on the shift cable and how to remove and replace. Looking at the bell housing where the shift cable hooks up to the aluminum piece to shift it there is a wire through threads and then a nut. if i take all of that good stuff off and i replace the bellow that way or do i have to remove the whole shift cable. My cable is good and is not giving me any problems so i want this to be as easy as possiable with out taking a bunch of stuff off. also when im reinstalling my outdrive and bell housing can any one give me the torq specs of the hinge pins and the bolts that hold the outdrive on. i guess any of the torq specs i need would be great
