Mercury 150 XR6 Tilt/Trim Problem

sometimes the tilt works, sometimes it wont, sometimes it tilts up or down on its own as soon as I add battery power. I am stumped about this problem. please help. Relays are brand new.

check your relays on the engine
sounds like bad connections or relays going out

Thanks for the advice, unfortunately I have already tried it, purchased two new relays and swapped out the ole relays. Still same problem.

now u need to get a meter and test for volts
blue is up
green is down

Not sure I am following you? Blue and Green from the relays?

yep
pull the relays
test blue for 12v when u push the trim buttom up
green for down
