How far is the throttle plate supposed to open in the carb? Mine does not open very far at all. It will rev up fine out of water but will die on the hole shot and will never hit WOT.
Correct. You will need to see what part of the linkage is limiting the travel. Start right at the carbs and work your way back to the engine/control cable connection. (Disconnect the control cables)
