This is a side question. I had a 120hp Force. I took the temp sender off and put it on a 150hp Mercury. Is this ok. Will I get an alarm at the expencted temp?
I replaced both switch boxes and I still have the problem. Can’t get full power. Seems like 3 of the cylinders get a weaker spark especially when I throttle. I assume it can only be the trigger or stator.
So I bought a new trigger and put it on. Took it out and began accelerating. Got it up to 30mph for the first time. Never got it up to that speed before. Thought I fixed the problem with the new trigger. Ran for about 10mins then bogged down again. Couldn’t get it to go faster than 7mph after again. What could be the problem now? FYI I put 2 new switch boxes on it. Also the spark is weak on half the cylinders.
