If you are talking about an early to mid-70 Outboard motor, the rotors are non-removeable. They are one piece with the rotor shaft.

Stick this in your address bar, then search with pictures

Have your model and serial and see exactly how your dist goes together

That Dist shaft and rotor is one-piece and No Longer Available, if or when you do find one, it is going to be expensive $$$$$

what is the easiest way to remove the rotor without damaging it??
Find a old Merc shop or Ebay for a set of rotor puller pliers Merc part # 91-32477A1 as you should have the dual point/coil distributor, if it has been updated to a S/S distributor it is non removable....
