Hi all,
I recently came into possession of 1973 MFG Gypsy 15 boat with a Mercury 850 motor. The boat is in decent condition but is serious need of cosmetic updating. The finish is rough to say the least, there are some surface cracks in the seating, the cushions, which are still there, need replaced. I would like to get some advice as to what is the best way to give it a nice new coat of paint. DO I have to stick with the same general shade or can I change it? Is this something I can do myself?
The cushions I think I can replace myself if I can get them off to get some measurements. I have included a picture to give you an idea if where I am starting. The picture actually looks better than real life.
Thanks for the help in advance.
