Missing, sometimes, not all the time?

My 1990 200 XP Evinrude misses occasionally at idle in gear, when this happens I walk back to the primer bulb and it doesn't seem to have much if any fuel. My question is, could a bad primer bulb possibly allow air into the fuel pumps possibly causing the engine to miss?

After the engine is started, the primer bulb won't be full. It'll just has fuel moving through it. If there's a leak anywhere in the fuel line it can/will cause problems. Instead of the fuel pump pulling fuel to the engine, it'll suck air.

c/6
Hooty

plugs or wires show up bad at idle and seam to be fine at higher speeds when less spark is needed this is a tought if you have no fuel leaks
