Wife and I were out on Saturday, March 3. Twas a nice day, about 80 degrees. We fish catfish, tried a few areas with no luck so we hit the back of our cove (MM83 ish). We were in 8 INCHES to 12 INCHES of water in this cove and very muddy. Fish were scooting everywhere we turned but the water is so muddy we couldn't get a good look to see what these fish were. I mean there were HUNDREDS of good size fish scooting away from the boat. Does anyone have and idea what these might be.
Thanks.

Probably spawning Carp. They spawn real shallow about that time of year and roil the water.

I figured something was spawning. Wife thought they might be carp. Thanks.
