The button diengages the shift so you can increase revs to warm up. A seperate warm up lever isn't necessary with these type controls.Sorry to beat this into the ground . . . . LOL
Using a newer up/down switch, how does it correspond to the older up/down/out configuration? Do I need a separate dash mounted switch for the 'out' function?
On another note, how about the idle lever? On a newer box, pictured below, there is no idle lever, but there is a button at the articulation joint to 'throttle only'. Is the adaptable in place of the idle lever?
Any insight would be helpful.
