Time to order modern parts to replace the old cable/pulley steering setup on the 15' runabout I'm restoring. Excellent advice on the iBoats boards as usual. But I haven't seen advice on this.<br />My steering wheel "bezel" sticks out of the dash at a 45 degree angle up. The dash is straight vertical, and the steering wheel angles up. Every Teleflex steering kit I find listed says it comes "complete with 90 degree bezel, helm,..."<br />I don't want 90 degrees. I want 45 degrees. Can I order a kit and use my existing bezel, tube, and back mounting nut to keep the 45 degree angle the steering is supposed to have? Anyone done this before? Anyone have a clue what I'm trying to say? The steering wheel would be for sh%t sticking out of the dash at a 90 degree right angle. Thanks!
