Re: Monterey Montura Newbie - need help
And here is the after, now I've got to go back to the repair guides and make sure I disconnect the h lines, and this drive properly, I am thinking to remove the red flywheel cover and take out the motor first and video the removal of the drive and so forth. I'll see if I can live up to your expectations Zool and see if I can pull some new tires out of my magic hat! Once I have the drive out and sitting next to each other you can school me on the precision shimming and what I can do. If possible I would like to use the lower unit as it is in better condition then the flying nun. Is there a way to change out the insides to make the ratios in line. and use the better no flying nun holes or jacked up skeg plate? If not no biggie just something I was pondering. Anyway thanks for sticking around guys, I was pretty upset with myself with the 280 not even close to fitting. I should have done more research on my part to ensure fitment. Oh well... the saga will continue, at least I escaped the fiberglass project... FOR NOW, hahahaha. Thanks guys and have a good night.
