Not the most unusual, but also from Man vs. Food-- a burger with the cheese molded into the middle of the raw patty before grilling, so the molten cheese oozes out when you take a bite. The MVF restaurant used American cheese on the show but I'd probably use a good apple smoked English cheddar or something.

we do that with pepperjack here at home all the time. Man vs food last night had steamed burgers with steamed cheese from CT i think, man that looked sooo good! thats an awesome show.

wow the experiments that will occur here! Heard bout the PB one, um i Love PB, wow in a burger??? Um ok..........I'lll try it!

And IF I could get some good venison here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YoWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!

local bar and grill here serves one with:

ketchup
mustard
pickles
onions
mushrooms
jalapenos
lettuce
bacon
tomatoes
cheese

there's probably more on it. thing is huge and tasty.

There is a bar on the Wolf River in Winneconne WI called "The Other Place" that serves an Olive Cheddar Burger. Nice thick burger with Green Olives and a slice of Sharp cheddar melted over the top. Add a side of sweet potato fries and I'm in heaven.

knew I forgot something. LOL 1/3 pound ground beef on that puppy.
