Re: My 16 Foot Super Sport
My white foam was really usable, so I put most of it back in..probably not enough but I an going to cut out my deck tomorrow ad do it RIGHT this time and I am curious how it looks almost 2 years later
whew - Kev, you are a glutton for punishment. How did your floor hold up the past 2 years? If I remember right you used exterior ply and painted it with floor paint. I like your boat and those side panels are very nice.
I was moving like a flu survivor today so progress was slow. I have not been that aqueous in a long time. For a 3 hour stretch on Thursday I could not decide which way to approach the porcelain throne, in forward or reverse. Friday I stopped leaking but felt like a wet noodle.
I put my new $65 Lowe's table saw together. Straight forward assembly but still took me 1.5 hours to put together. Can't wait to get cutting on some plywood for the floor and transom. I sanded and put the third coat of white on the bottom, pounded out a bend, sanded, primed bare spots and put first coat of white on the aluminum bow piece that holds the seats. One issue and a question come to the forefront today. There is a major hack job by a previous owner in the front section of the bow piece so I need to come up with a plan to correct or cover up. The question comes out of the the bend on the bow piece. Did any of you beef up the piece to avoid bends. I have 250-350 pound friends and I am concerned they could bend it like tin foil. Ideas or direction? Here are some pictures of today.
