Re: My 16 Foot Super Sport
Otte - Not to be negative but wouldn't a circular saw be easier to cut sheets of ply than a table saw? This from a man who just made a 1 1/4 x 8" transom board from a 40 year old douglas fir 2 x 12 with my table saw, I almost killed the saw.
On the bow support - maybe add another sheet on the inside and clean up the opening or add some 1" flat stock 1/8 thick to the top edge and vertical supports.
On the foam - I have more time than money so cutting blue/pink board to fit is what I would do. I have use an electric knife on soft foam, I wonder if it would work on rigid foam?
Paint is looking great, I will be there soon, so show me how to do it right, mine has many war wounds and lots of dock rash. I want to see how a real expert does it.
Glad you on the tail end of the flu, been there done that. I felt like I had been run over by a semi for about 4 days.
