Hey guys i picked me up an old glasstream bass boat that is in restorable condition but it will definitely be needing a little tender loving care.
The transom is solid in the boat, the stringers are ruined and dilapidated however nothing that cannot be replaced with a little bit of time, money and patience. OH yeah and lots of sanding....
I know this boat is nasty looking right now and just to inform you it didn't recieve this shape from sitting in my yard. I got the boat from another individual and that is just part of the fun, to see the before and one day or one year (laughing) the after photos. I got the boat just the way it was, not on a boat trailer, i simply picked it up with my utility trailer.
So needless to say i would be able to purchase a used boat with a trailer and motor for the monies that i will be placing into this boat, but that is irrelevant, the main point is the enjoyment of the restoration.
Just a little bit of work, shoot!! a lot of work, but it'll be fun.
Any suggestions, advice or such are gladly welcomed.
