Oops. The paint felt hard but not enough so it came off the keel onto my rollers. So when i put on my bunks i have to drop my rollers and redo the keel paint. Oh well u live, u learn. Cold spell here in ct. So slowing me down for 2 days but i have some to do inside on parts to stay productive.

Well i got some work done today. I painted the vinyl behind the bow seat area and the pockets under the gunwales. I cut out the wood for the floor and put 3 coats of epoxy resin on the undersides and the sides. Put in my bilge pump. My son scrubbed out and power washed and sucked out the hull with the shop vac. Tomorrow i'm going to get the pool noodles and install the floor and then put the resin on the top after it's in and possibly put in the carpet i bought. I'd love to have the floor finished tomorrow

wow i hadn't realized how long it's been since i posted. time to catch up.OK, um my wife and i painted the splash well and top of gunwales. I got the carpet in. my daughter's boyfriend and i got the consoles and windshields in and riveted on the trim pieces in the splash well and painted the vinyl that i left on the sides of the bow area that goes under the gunwales up to the bow but i cut the bottom of it when i cut the carpet so i have to figure out what to do there now. I cut out the wood that will go in front of the consoles.now i have cut the new dash boards. I also repaired the paint damaged from putting the boat on the trailer before it hardened.

sorry bout the pic size. i tried to figure out how to fit my 12 gal tank in but i'm choosing to go with 2 portable 6 gals.

i think i'm gonna beat joey's price. so far i'm still under $1400 including the $1000 i paid for it. From what i see less than $100 to go!

got boat and trailer registered yesterday. That alone is a big incentive. It's gonna be my first boat that I can actually drive! I'm super pumped! If the weather cooperates today after therapy (for the elbow...I'm not that crazy) I'll have all the interior wood sealed and hopefully vinyl covered. Maybe tomorrow put it all in. :D:D:D

While it's on my mind, I like to thank the people who put forums on iboats. Without these there is no way that I could have done this as well as I think it turned out. Big ups to u joey! I probably went back to ur forum more than rest but u all were helpful. Now I have confidence that my work will last.

Oh yeah my new projected launch date: june 18! The day after I finish the boating classes.

Well the wiring is all done and the bilge pump is in and working. Only took about two hours but put in the wrong switch for the bow and stern lights so i changed it to the one that allows the stern light to be lit by itself.

got the most important part installed(the fish finder). Oh yeah , and the dash w/ rack and pinion teleflex steering.
