 I dont think I took a pic of the 6 inch screw that was poking through the bottom of the hull. It was holding in one of the seat bases.

Good entertainment.

Yea I only come out when it nears 60 :)

The foam is one of the things I have thought long and hard about. Being on the budget Im on, I had originally thought "nahh I dont need no stinkin' foam". Then I thought the sheet foam would be cheaper and easier, then I read a forum post on the subject (by oops I believe)and thought, "swim noodles"? So anyway, I have researched it till I was blue in the face, and saw the legendary video of the sinking Lund, and have decided to just get the 2 part foam from US Composites and do it the "right" way. It wont take as much as I had first thought, and that actually works best because its not something I need to do (or spend on) right away.

Iven been gone for a while and am ready to start working on my boat again. I need to build a cradle before I remove the cradle again. I was just looking at your pics and noticed that the stringers left & right are supported and the bottoms aren't touching. matter of fact the bottoms are not cut to the angle of the hull. can I do the same and just fill the bottom of it with PB? ive been wondering how I was going to be able to cut the bottoms in an angle to make it fit but if I can fill it with PB then lay the stringers on top of it then it wouldn't matter. would it?

The project is still there but was halted due to us buying and moving into our dream home in the Ky countryside! Retirement from the Army is a year away... horses and boating is in our future :)
The boat is now sitting in my new 6 car garage waiting to be emptied of the moving boxes it contains... :)

And yes, filled those gaps with PB!

Den, good to hear from you. Moving to the Kentucky country side, six car garage, dream home, horses... All I can say is wow. Cogratulations. My house is up for sale and i do own a horse but I don't see a 6 car garage in the future anywhere :).
Anyway, I'll be looking forward to seeing your progress.
