On my AQ131A the current plug wires are 7mm silicone and the ends are straight..they screw into the plug wire and the plug end has a little wire spring that clicks onto the threaded top of the plug. One one cap the little spring thingie broke so I need to replace the one cap. I can't seem to find these online...maybe someone here can help point me in the right direction?

thanks

Thanks...I don't need all new wires...the wires are fine. Just one end is broken. I'm hoping to find the specific end I'm asking about. The ends are about $4-$10 and a new set of wires is at least $40. I like to save my money when possible

thanks

Or you could just get a single spark plug wire. That may be a lot easier to find than just the end. You can probably find a single spark plug wire for like 5 bucks.

Can't seem to find them with this type of end on them. All that I find are the ends that are a friction fit on the plug top that has the cap threaded on the top of the plug. These ends are usually used in applications where there is more vibration. They may not be required in this application, but I'd still like to find one like what I have.

thanks

**EDIT***

OK..I've figured out they call this a threaded terminal cap as the terminal on the plug is threaded. I can find 90 degree caps that are to be used with a threaded terminal, but not straights...

Re: Need a spark plug boot/cap

I'm pretty sure I have old ones, I replaced mine with an auto engine plug wire set.
(Rock auto . com)
I'll check tonight if the wire is 7mm and if they unscrew from the wires.
Drop me a PM if you cannot find new.

Seems the end of the wire is not bare...
The boot does un-screw but will not screw into a bare wire.
The screw part in the boot looks more like a bolt than a wood screw.
