Okay guys.. I narrowed down my boat search to a couple of boats. This coming Saturday ill be looking at a 1998 rinker 232 open bow . It has a 7.4 mericruiser with a bravo outdrive. Not sure on prop size as I haven't seen the boat yet.It has been in salt water but flushed out after use and stored in dry-dock the past 8 yrs. He is the 3rd owner .Comes with a aluminum trailer with brakes. For the past 8 yrs he has had it serviced at Rinker world here in Houston and recommended to head that direction to ask what work exactly the boat has had. He said he has always followed there recommendations . New drive seals were replaced along with a tune up and batteries replaced this current boating season. Any advice on the questions and what to look for would be helpful. Also how would I find out if the prop is stock? I do know he stated the top speed was 51 mph. He does have a GPS on board .. not sure what that does but I will ask if I remember. I'm hoping a upgrade on prop will get me a little more speed but If not... I will be happy at 50 mph since my last little 17ft Searay topped out at 37mph.
