Need help IDing OMC

I believe it's an 800. The model# 983488
It's in an 85 B-liner with a 305
ETA I really need to be sure as I'm looking at a Skeg guard and they are NLA for the 800 but the have them for the Cobra. I broke a small piece off the tip of the skeg. I'm trying to decide between the Skeg guard and the Blackfin skeg. If I have an 800 (I think I do. but it's grey not white) it makes the blackfin the only choice

Cobras didn't appear for a few years after yours....

That's not that bad really in this case. It was reman/rebuilt( not long) before I got it. I just pulled a idiot mistake and turned the wrong way while idling in reverse. I was able to streighten the skeg with a hammer and a 4x4.
Well guess I'm driving - the 1" tip of my skeg or getting the Blackfin
