Re: Need help making a sweet stereo system
Essentially you just asked " what is the best boat ?' and never said what the intended use was , or , the water you will be operating in .
1st thing is forget the 6x9"s !
Cover the holes with a grill ..
After that , I can only offer generic advise without knowing what you listen to , and , your personal definition of "rocks" .
Do you listen to classical , hardrock/metal , rap , country , easy listening ,show tunes , etc.. ?
Will it be an intimate setting or a party atmosphere ?
Is the music a centerpiece of the party , or , a background theme ?
Do you want clean sound , loud , or , both ?
It can be as easy and cheap , or , complex and expensive , as you want it to be .
You could spend $500 on a deck and 4 cheap coaxials , or easily spend 10x that on a high end deck and seperates , BEFORE buying amps and subs .
A litle more info would be very helpfull , including your favorite artists and music genres , AND , your working budget to achieve sonic nirvana .
Just like the title says, im wondering which products to use and what i exactly need. I have a 30ft CC and I plan on putting 2 subs, 2 6X9's and 4 6.5's.....so what kind of amps do i need? what kind of speakers have you all have the best luck with? Its a CC so the speakers and subs will have to be water resistant. I was planning on putting the AMP's in the cuddy so i will most likly buy standard car Amps for that but I need your help and input on whatever you would do. My question to all of you is do you think this system will rock on a 30ft CC. I need help with type of CD player (with i pod connection), speakers ( i hear JL audio is good, but expensive), and amps......
Thanks guys!
