WOW! Looks like I stirred a hornets nest. However, I still stand by my statement of free advertising. IF I had a set of Smart Tabs and IF I felt that they were the the greastest thing since sliced bread, the only advertising I would do for them is if someone asked how I liked the and who made them I would tell them, and, I would give them a honest answer. However, I would NOT hang a sign out that read, "Smart Tabs are GREAT!! Buy a set Today!"<br /> As far as support from the "Head Cheese", No, I have not personally talked to the head of General Motors, or Walmart. I have, on numermous times talked to the head cheeses of smaller companies. The fact that John will work with you to get the tabs working correctly/ most efficiently is a mark in the plus column.<br /> I don't think that I have knocked his product. If I have, then I apologize, because I have not used the product therefore I am not qualified to judge it. I'm just saying that if I spend the $$ for a set, and rig them to my boat and have to adjust/play with them to get the most out of them, then I feel I should be paid for the time spent, and not have someone else use my work to sell thier product to someone else with the same boat/motor combination as mine.<br /> There is a difference between ME telling you how I set them up, and someone else using my experience, trials and errors, testing, etc., to sell thier product.<br />If I have offended anyone, and that includes NautiJohn, then I am sorry, it's not what I intended to do. I am sure, from reading posts from people that have them, they are a good product.
