We make Mobster Tabs specifically for this purpose and specifically for Bass Boats. Lube Dude on this forum has a lot of experience using our Mobster Tabs on his 19' (I think) Tracker with a 150 Merc OB. Between the Mobster Tabs, and a prop change (up in pitch from a 21 to a 23) the end result were a reduction in time to plane (hole shot) from about 6 to 7 seconds down to 3 to 4, seconds and an increase in Top speed of 6 MPH. Of cource the boat ran very smooth even at WOT. Do a search or ask him to answer your questions.

John:<br /><br />Top speed didn't really change at all, but I think that the tabs need to be adjusted lighter as they are still at a down angle at full speed. Shouldn't they be retracted till they are even with the bottom of the hull?<br /><br />Craig
