You have to find the leak, and determine if puncure, split, slice, etc. Also, how it may have happened. Most are completely covered in canvas, so would need to see if some defect in it was causing puncture. Access to the tube, is usually a challenge, via one or two holes. Then contact mfg. Or contact them and let them handle the hole thing.
I had a similar thing happen last week, Chariot Warbird II went flat overnight after 2nd time out from new, I removed the main bladder from the canvas through the access hole and found one of the runner seams let loose right at the joint. Called Sportstuff.com they stand 100% behind products 90 days from purchase. I explained that we got it for Christmas and live in Ohio didn't even take it out till June this year, he said thats ok no problem and is sending me another new main bladder free, didn't even want the old one back or a receipt! I'll have the new one in about 3 days. +++++Sportstuff.Com++++++
Under inflation and people bouncing around on it out of the water are big reasons for leakage issues. Fortunately our 4 man "Cruizzer" at $65:00 on sale from that place that sells the Tahoe range is still holding strong and providing endless fun for the family.
Good Luck with yours and let us all know how you make out.
Yeah, but they just aren't that easy to find any more.that's why i still use a tractor tube.
I hope it is worth 400 dollars. I think that I would stay with a truck or tractor innertube instead of that price.
I'm curious how one can think a tractor tube is unsafe? Maybe your realizing something I'm not.
