Follow the orange wires coming off your coils the will lead you to the power pack. Do the repair on the fuel (fuel Line, bulb, pump,Carbs, ect.) then move to the fireing. Just remember take these guys word they will not steer you wrong. Just remove one problem at a time.

The powerpack is top center between the cylinder banks. The coils are arrayed across the top of the engine on a rack. The wiring looks like this diagram:

You state: "i had it on the muffs still will not run without choke on. so i decarbed the engine."

A engine that will not run unless the choke is on indicates that the carburetors are fouled. Decarbing the interior of the crankcase solves nothing in this situation.

Remove, clean, and rebuild the carburetors using complete carburetor kits.

You may have other problems BUT the carburetors require the above work first.

Gary..... Obviously fuel is getting to the carburetors as it will run when you have the choke on.

The carburetors need to be removed, cleaned, and rebuilt using complete catburetor kits. If you don't want to do this, the engine has no chance of running properly.

That single powerpack is part number 581731.

Standing in back of the engine and facing the spark plugs, the cylinders are number as follows:

2....1

4....3

You've been asked about the compression various times. What is it?
