Re: New EPA regulations to cover all gas engines in 2010, including boats. RIP Carbs
Well.. Unforunatly, global warming is real, and we've all gota make sacrifices to prevent the earth from undergoing drastic climate change. Scientist have proven that suden drastic changes have taken place numerous times throughout history.
And some catylitic convertors in boats is a lot cheaper than the damge that would result from 10 category 5 huricanes hitting the eastern side of north america every year, or from the oceans rising 15+ feet.
And on the subject of coal, I hope obama tells china that the US will no longer trade with them unless they implement clean burning coal technology. The chinnese are burning more and more coal every day.
I'm canadian, and our prime minister said today that he's been waiting for obama to get in so he can start negotiating a carbon cap and trade system for all of north america.
I hope we can take care of this problem like we did with the o-zone layer. The clocks ticking, and if the climate does drastically change in the course of 1 year, our sociaty will be turned upside down!
Scientists are already working on band-aid solutions to buy us more time like firing sulfer into the atmosphere and pumping carbon into underground/underwater caverns.
