I picked up a Troy Bilt tiller yesterday looks to be a junior model. It’s in over all good shape and is well worth my effort bring it back to life.
The carb is pretty rough and has a lot of internal corrosion and the needles are shot but it should at least be good enough to see if she runs. It turned out to be a mouse house as well but there was nobody home.

I restored my grandfathers old Horse 5 ish years ago. Original Tec engine wasn’t in good shape last time it had run ( smoked ) and the carb was messed up so so I put on a Briggs Honda clone engine. It came with the brush guard/ bumper which didn’t fit the OHV clone engine so I actually went as far as buying the bumper for a newer model which mostly bolted right up directly. Only thing I didn’t do was paint it red. It’s tilled a lot since I restored it
