Yup. I was surprised to read that my Four Winns is an 'entry level price point' boat. It isn't, but no offense taken. The opinions expressed on this board are worth every penny of what you paid for them.
Current condition is what matters. As for Wellcraft being out of business, so is Maxum. It doesn't matter. You won't get 'factory support' on a 10 year old boat anyway.
Just be careful about what you read on the Internet and hear from people in general about various boats. They are all pretty much the same in terms of how they are built. It is analogous to comparing Ford's versus Chevy's, etc., particularly after 10+ years of prior ownership.
