Okay so I found a deal on craigslist.org I could not pass up got a 25 gal. alumiweld fuel tank for 50 dollars now i want to flush it before I install it what is the best method of doing this?
Put a length of chain into the filler. Hang onto the end of the chain and shake the crap (literally) out of the tank. Flush it with diesel fuel, kerosene or any other solvent that is not quite as explosive as gasoline.
on another note my riding lawn mower got sugar in the tank from a pissed off ex would that work for that too, I haven't ran the engine yet so I know that's no problem.
