Paul or Elvin,
I recently replaced the impeller on my NS8B which went fine(so I thought), but upon reassembly I could not get the cam that is attached to the shift linkage to engage back into the gear case. It's hitting something...
Now, I think where I messed up in this whole process was I didn't remove the pins from the coupler that connects the rod together and I pulled the whole linkage with cam still attached out *oops*.
Is there any way w/o having to pull the whole lower-end gears/drive out to put that cam and linkage back together or am I screwed??
I hope this all makes sense but if it doesn't have pics of what I'm referring to.

PS I did take the time to read through a bunch of post using the search option but I just couldn't find exactly my problem, but problems really close...
