I Have used the OEM axle bearing puller. Made a great set up. Put tens of thousands of PSI on the tool. Tool broke. I had so much pressure on the tool that the hard dowel pin that holds the foot of the puller, sheared through the end of the puller shaft. Lot's of pressure to do that. Bearing did not budge one bit.
Is that a J.B. Weld repair in the picture? Around 3 to 9 O'clock. Could this stuff be what is causing my problem? I just can't believe with the amount of pressure I have applied (enough to snap a professional tool) that this suff could retain the bearing.
Don or Bondo, Please help! Thanks.
