Re: Now I have problems
I mis stated or didnt talk - s-l-o-w enough

when I grounded I drifted into shallows TO A BEACH - on purpose - I was NOT going fast but really SLOW

with the motor partially raised ( above the bottom of the pontoons so it could NOT have hit bottom )

THE ENGINE DID NOT STALL

when I was ready to leave the beach I pushed the boat out -
to deeper water - the depth finders ( I have two of them ) said there was 4 and 6 ft under the boat - I started the engine and started to accelerate -- I was going NO faster than 3000 rpm when the engine just started to rev
and NOT push

As stated in previous posts I have had nothing BUT trouble with this engine

had to rebuild the carbs when it was only 2 month old - and with only 5 hours on the engine

Had to replace a vro pump ( said it had a hole in the diaphram )

had to replace the steering cables ( said they corroded ) - the boat has never sat longer than 1 week without at least a short jaunt

developed a fuel line leak

Now howe am I responsible for ALL of those - the engine is under 3 years old and less than 200 hours on it - has been serviced as recommended
