On the diesel front, Subaru is or has came out with a diesel Outback that is suppose to be right there with the Audis.

The USA needs to re-look at the emission standards. Diesel cars are not permitted to be sold in Vermont and Calif...... only when used but not as new.

Hey Bob, what about trucks, as in 3/4 ton with diesels?

Re: Now thats a 44 MPG car

Big diesels are fine 3/4t and above.... but cars are not permitted. It is a shame since Toyota makes a nice diesel 3.0L that is used worldwide but not in the USA.

New mercedes, audi, vw cars are not permitted.

I'm glad all those brilliant minds are concentrated in California and Vermont...good thing they don't get to decide which lakes are Great Lakes...Oh, wait...

I like the Subaru better than the Audi, but they both look a heck of a lot better than a ford focus. :D
