"When you have the Queen Bee of the Democratic Party publicly declaring she would 'take' the profits of a public company for her own purposes"

If I remember correctly, that statement was without reference as well.

Did you read this thread?

This morning, before the Democratic National Committee, she had this to say:

The other day the oil companies reported the highest profits in the history of the world. I want to take those profits and I want to put them into a strategic energy fund that will begin to fund alternative, smart energy, alternative and technology that will begin to actually move us toward the direction of independence. I have to tell you, I am not running for president to put Band-Aids on our problems.

Yes, so what? Is this paraphrased, word for word, an interpretation, made up?

No quotes, no source, just bold print with a statement of where it was said. Again, so what. Evidently there is no recorded source of this statement, because I am sure you were hurridly looking for it crunch.

Until there is a source for her statement, I will simply consider it a false or inaccurate statement.

Again crunch, you are proving to be a hypocrite. A week or 2 ago, you gave PW a hard time for an uncited quote. Now you are telling me to accept Boom's at face value?

The, "do as I say, not as I do," attitude stands out like a sore thumb and will never work for me.

Art made it real clear that the above phrase, (about confuscation), is his underlying objective, he jus' puts in the rest o' the stuff to p*** o** Cornservatives. GREAT point by point REPLY 12 FOOTER! Don't want to read his, (Art's) mind, as it could stress out the single brain cell Bro Haut thinks I have left after Rubber's repeated gas attacks, (might have to start callin' Bro Haut: Dr Haut). Take the money or property of the productive and give it to the unproductive, (guess I don't know that you actually are unproductive: Art, and if you own a boat I doubt you are, as ya need somethin' ta pour into the hole in the water n' all). Not at all crunch. Stupid is the one that accepts everything at face value, or expects another to feel stupid for simply questioning statements.

You must have your head in the sand CJY. The airwaves and print are full of her voice and quotes. If this is an example of how you and all of your comrades support your ideology then God help us.

Yes CJY, it is very apparent that you do not subscribe to the truth and reality even when the evidence of it is saturating the airwaves and print. Hillary, current case in point.

If there was ever a case for "open your ears and you shall hear, open your eyes and you shall see" I guess this is it.

Attack Hillary all you want. I am all for it.

I trust the voters that they will understand who got us in this mess were in, and give them all the credibility they deserve.

BTW, Hillary was speaking to the Democratic conference, and was "firing up the base" as it were. She was wrong, of course, but every candidate does the same thing when speaking to their respective bases. It is hardly the forum to propose well thought out policy statements...but go ahead, attack and ridicule her all you want--launch the Swift Boats! I suspect she won't be as ineffective as Kerry was in combatting them.

Anything coming from the neo-cons and far right will have no credibility anyway.

PW, as a man of your obvious intellect, you never cease to amaze me! This of course goes for many of your compatriots.

This is not Iowa in 1930. This is now, the age of instant and total communication. If Hillary is so stupid as to not realize that statements made at close gathering, statements revealing such fundemental identifiers, would be shared with the world, then she is not the Wonder Woman that she and her party would have us believe.

Besides, it is immaterial that she was preaching to the base. She was not pandering, she was simply revealing the true Hillary.

Ya think so CJY? I don't! When I'm speculatin' as to the thoughts or agendas of Libs and Dems I try to identify my speculation as a potential 'mind read'. Your side constantly repeats 'mind reads' as facts, or tries to make 'em facts by repeatin' 'em so the MSM picks up the 'mind reads' and the consumers o' MSM can form opinions that the MSM can pol and report those pols to shape the Liberal agenda. That's what I see from your side there: CJY. Respectfully JR

Hey Boom, very interesting you should make such a statement. Say it with me now, I know you can say it..........M-I-N-O-R-I-T-Y.

Your beliefs, thoughts, feelings, opinions of Hillary and the rest of the democrats, they are all part of...... you guessed it, the M-I-N-O-R-T-Y!

It must be tough knowing everyday you awake, W is out there driving another nail into any chance the republicans have in 2008.

Re: Oh Hill, your slip is showing.

If stupid statements didn't derail your guy, Bush, in 2004, They're not likely to derail Hillary now.

Unlike Kerry, she knows how to fight back.

But go ahead. Pop an artery trying!

Hey CJY, Koolaid and sand isn't a healthy diet.

I think the republicans have a real good chance in 2008, because that gives the dems almost 2 more years to make even bigger fools of themselves and allow the rest of the country to realize their mistake.

This link will help everybody understand what stress our conservative contingent is under, and why they are so shrill in there disarray. 8)

<What many conservatives regard as the nightmare scenario -- President Hillary Rodham Clinton -- is increasingly seen by veteran Republican politicians and strategists as a virtual inevitability.>>

<<In GOP circles, the Democratic front-runner is seen as so strong, and the political climate for Republicans so hostile, that many influential voices -- including current and former lawmakers, and veterans of President Bush's campaigns -- have grown despairing.>>

Hey there Tree ol' buddy! I think your attempted 'mind read' on my side is a li'l off here. I think Cornservatives are a li'l depressed that enough of the country wants us to be defeated by the Religion o' Peace so bad, or more likely aren't payin' attention so that they let Nanc an' ol' Harry rule for a couple o' years. Thats all: Tree. Most Cornservatives like to win: not loose as Libs seem to want: real bad. Real simple. JR
