This is a used boat I bought. Am I missing something on my fill plug. Should I have a screw cap on top or could it have broken off. Not finding any help on the net. My drain plug looks fine.
Thanks Roy

Are you talking about the allen head screw in the water pick-ups ?? If you are that holds the pinion brg in the g/c in place. The fill screw is on the bottom of the l/u. The one in the last pic is the vent screw for filling the l/u. The fill screw looks the same.

Thanks, was kind of hidden but now have found the fill screw and does look the same. Sorry but I am just learning about boat motors. Looking for a manual right now for my model. 1978 Evinrude 115hp

Thanks again, Roy
