i HAVE A 1974ercury 650 with thunderbolt ignition and i droped the lu to change the impeller to find the impeller has no fins left on it and its saturated in oil. is that the gear oil? if so do i replace the gaskets before i put my new impeller on ? i did notice that one of the three nuts were loose could that of made it leak through? and what could of cause the impeller to loose all except for one of its fins? othere than that everything else looks good. there apears to be 2 gaskets with a metal plate that seperates them. any help would be great thanks
