Picked this up thinking it would be a neat old project. The title is a assigned Ohio, no manufacturer. Any Ideas>

It's a Feathercraft. Made in Georgia, a few web sites dedicated just to this manufacturer. One of my favorite designs.

I have seen those before. They are VERY cool boats. I like them a lot!

For $200 I fell in love. I love the old wood boat looking lines. I have been looking up Feather Craft, but cant find any where the steering is in the rear cockpit. How hard is it to get an old motor like that running? Not locked up, but has been sitting for years. All the lines are shot. I can get another one for 250.00 (ran 2 years ago). Suggestions?

Welcome to iBoats!
Motors can be easy or hard. Easy--clean the carbs, check the float, pull the plugs, clean, change the fluids and start it. Hard -- replace carbs, coils, plugs etc.. Costs, 0 to $300. But those Johnsons are some of the BEST old motors around, plenty of available parts, and help to rebuild. I would DEFINTELY invest the time and effort to rebuild her and keep her with that boat. You will be glad you did. When you are done, I guarantee someone will be more than happy to give you your money back and MORE!!!!

I'm just sayin...:D
