So congrats to Canada's women! Well fought game!.....IMO beer and stogies are a fitting way to enjoy a win so all the upset over it isnt needed..let them cut loose a little!!!!!

Good luck to Canada...hope to see you in that game also but I think the Slovaks will put up a hell of a fight....dont under estimate the ability..they are motivated by being the first Slovak team ever to get this far and you know they want to get to that gold match up!

And since Canada won the Gold for womens Hockey.....I found myself a cool pic to put in my signiture as the bet was for the ladies!

Bingo on this point Solar!! This is not the time to be taking any team that has gotten this far for granted. The Slovaks are a very capable team.
The Canadians will have to keep their foot on the pedal to advance to that Gold Medal game.
I'm pullin' for 'em and I have huge confidence in them...but they can not let up, I think thats the key.

So with that said....... based on medal achievement % Norway is in the lead followed by ???????? then ???????? then ?????

If population and percentage could be the judge, than wouldn't it stand to reason that the country with the lowest average temp. should often be the winner since they have a higher percentage of people in their country participating in these type sports and a longer season to practice them? Just a thought.

Couldn't get on after the game last night.


Man those last 10 minutes were brutal. Canada just kinda fell apart and the Slovaks really wanted this one. Much more entertaining game than the US/Fins but I hate things coming down so close.

Speaking of which, heartbreak in Womens curling as Canada was defeated in extra ends by the Swedes. Good job on the Silver but a couple of mistakes cost Canada the game.
