omc 4.3 starcraft

ok, i got another question... I have a 1988 Starcraft medalist 1901. i just bought it and as it turns out the crank case is fool of water, and one of the heads has a crack, and two of the freeze plugs aree missing It has an OMC 4.3l. However, I do have a few good 4.3l automotive engines. Can anybody tell me what the diff. is between the two engines, or what I need too change?? Thanks, Bryan

Your 4.3 long blocks will work fine, you'll need to swap everything from the oil pan to the carb including the cam, brass freeze plugs are a + too.

All you change is freeze plugs if its a Truck motor. use the marine carb.

do I need to swap everything internal. or just the carb & the oil pan, and sone brass freeze plugs???

carb
distributor
motor mounts
starter
crank pulley
flywheel
exh mfds
It's all doable without having to open the engine
