Need to replace the gear lube in upper and lower units...

What do I use? I doubt that "OMC Premium Gearlube" is still sold... Anyway, I'm wanting to go pick it up today too, so a good "replacement" product that is readily available would be great!

Thanks!

Is Type C appropriate for Upper Unit as well?

How many quarts do I get to fill both Upper and Lower Units?

If you have an electric shift, you don't want to use Hi-Vis. Says right on the bottle not to use in electric shift models.

Sierra carries a type "C" lube. Its part number is 18-9600 and can be bought in various quantities.

What year is your OMC?

'77 Lower Unit and '74 Upper...

Yep... No HI-VIS for me. Type C it is. West Marine carries it locally.
