Re: ? on invisible dog fencing update
I would not have a dog without it!!!

I have had the invisible fence since I got the puppy. The only 2 times he went thru after the training was following my daughter, once down the front sidewalk, after whinning for 5 minutes watching her play in the front lot, he decide it was worth the shock. The other time he followed her down the driveway. Now to get him to go near either spot, I must have my hand on him. What a pain to get him in the car!!!

The younger they are when you put the fence in the easier it is to train them.

Our dog does not seem to care of the fence or collar is on, he will not go to the wire. He has sat and watch deer and other dogs go by, with out trying to pass the fence.

Installing it was easy. I rented a gas trimmer for Home Depot, and had them put 2 blades on it. The only had parrt was the stone driveway. Took 2 hours with a trencher. I put out 800 feet of wire. Once I was thru the driveway it took me and my wife 90 minutes to put the entire system in.
