oh man learn! the stick will get you better gas milage better towing (plus makes it harder for people to barrow your truck) you can push start it if your battery is dead (or if your start goes out lol) dodge is IMO one of the easyest sticks to learn on (plus don't have to worry about those dodge tranny isues) if i could trade my truck for a stick i would

heres your chance. i had a 1999 dakota with a stick the girl i sold it to didn't know how to drive a stick i took her out in a parking lot and 20 min latter we were going down the road. my wifes mother bought her a ford escort with a stick when she was 18 the dealer gave her a quick crash course and away she went

yup in 02 they replaced the 5.2 with the 4.7 and in 03 replaced the 5.9 with the 5.7 hemi

on steep ramps it can be but once your used to it it isn't a problem

alright.. our local ramp is not very steep at all. we have steeper roads. so just practice i guess. my dad can drive stick so he's gunna test drive it. but i dont know much about it. he said 99 dakota. 114k 3.6l?

it would be a 3.9 not a 3.6 a interseting side note the 3.9 is esentaly a 5.2 with the front 2 cyl milled off, same pistons

k. wasnt sure i was in the cafe when he called so i couldn't hear.. . you gotta explain that one to me a little better lol. . it has 8 pistons so technically its a v8 but the front 2 are changed so it acts like a v6??? im not an engine guy . but trying to learn
