k. wasnt sure i was in the cafe when he called so i couldn't hear.. . you gotta explain that one to me a little better lol. . it has 8 pistons so technically its a v8 but the front 2 are changed so it acts like a v6??? im not an engine guy . but trying to learn
i had a 1999 dakota with a 3.9 and a stick mine was extended cab 4x4 i towed a jeep cherokee (3000+lbs) on our single place car trailer (1800lbs) 250+ miles (actualy i was only a few miles from johns house when i picked up the jeep) it struggled in the hills but i got it going 65 on the high way
first gear is kinda high so steep hills get hard to travel up with out putting it in 4 lo but as far as clerences and handling it did great off road (when i say steep i meen 45%) i was alful proud of mine the day i had mud on the roof
i NEVER put my truck in 4 wheel drive unless i'm having problems in 2 wheel drive i like to know that if i'm going to get stuck i can put it in and get out not already be in 4 wheel and be screwed
ever concider one of these? this is my dads he swapped cars with my wife for a couple weeks cuz he had a lot of traveling to do and her taurus gets almost 30 mpg
looks nice.. yah i went home today and my dad set up a meeting with a guy. 2000 ford f-150 92k 2wd auto. he wants 5200 for it. we drove it and stopped by the mechanic and he really liked it.. so the seller was really nice and dropped it at our mechanic for them to look at tomor.
4.2 . reg cab. i think the 6 box. but wasnt apying attention.. It doenst have a tach.? um manual windows and doors (which i dont mind) makes it more romantic having to get the door all the time lol.. looked under and barely any rust on the frame. except in the normal little places with just surface rust.
