i guess what was killing us was labor. they had to take the radiator out and a bunch of crap out just to install the bracket

Well im new to this thread. Hi yall! This forum is GREAT!! I don't know carp about boats really, but I have a way with cars & trucks.. Im debating on the boat work tonight, don't really feel like it.. 6 hours of math kinda made me just wanna have a few...

Yeah I drive a 97 Chevy 1500, and selling the 97 saturn wagon with 125,000
for 1200.00 to fund my boat project.. The truck has 230,000 on it and going strong!!

here it is.. our guy said 1400. so the seller is gunna bring it to a guy he does business with who owes him a favor. than were gunna go from there. and hopefully buy it.. he needs to fix the parts in order to sell it to anyone so. yah.

Zach103, thats a nice looking truck, and with the 6 it should get decent enough milage that it wont suck up all the boat cash. BTW. what are you studying in school?

Im real bad in math!! Im in introductroy algebra and have one more math class to get past for my degree in computer networking technology- microsoft option. In high school I was great in math and failed english, now I fail math and already breezed through all the english classes no problem.

no. this is my first boat. so i brought it up to ny last year for vacation and it broke. so this year i havnt been anywhere cuz ive been repairing it.

ok here is a question my wife curently drivers a 2001 Ford Taurus with 111,000 miles on it, I can upgrade to a 2005 Ford Taurus with 95,000 for $2,500 difference. Think i should do it?

Thats still a lot of miles !! I just got a 98 contour with 31,000 for 2 grand !!

personally I wouldnt, if you have had the 01 since new. and its been trouble free.. its better to keep it than pay $2500 for something with only 16000 miles less, that you know nothing about, you might pay $2500 dollars for the oppourtunity to have it break down in 3 weeks and cost another 2500 bucks..then your out $5000. and if the old taurus has been a PITA... find somthing with lower miles. if the 01 runs fine.. drive it till it croaks, or till it becomes unreliable... put the $2500 in "the bank.".. (yea.. I am going to name my boat "the bank")

I should have mentioned that my dad is a used car dealer and i work part time for him, we bought the 2001 from him 3 years ago when it had 83,000 miles on it. Growing up in this situation 3 years is the longest i have owned a car, in the 8 years we have been married my wife has had 7 cars. The 2005 is a 1 owner Florida car owned by a corporation (witch in my experiance means very well maintained) in presant condition there is about $3,000 differance between them

HOW DID YOU KNOW!!!! went cleaned out the truck. fixed the subwoofer box to fit in there.. than decided to hook up the boat.. brought into center of town filled all the tires with air. came back.. it was my first time towing and i thought i really did well.. ill get a pic in a minute or two
