Yep, white gelcoat will do it if you're not concerned with an exact match. You can mix in some cabosil with the gelcoat to get a past to fill scratches and gouges or get some glass bubbles to make sanding easier.
So the supplies are going to be in today. I was just wondering if I could get a little more in depth instructions to follow.
From what I gather, mix up some peanut butter to fill in the hole and the most damaged area strong again.
Then 1 layer of csm, then 1 layer of 1708.
Followed by a few more layers of csm.
Then lay down some gelcoat.
Should I add some cabosil to the resin for the glass to try and thicken it up since I will be working upside down?
Where should I start as far as grit to sand it down?
Should I sand down the peanut butter before applying glass over it?
Thanks.
