Ok just to refresh everybodies memory 1983 I-R gimble housing, gimble ring and bell housing brand new SEI outdrive. no need to worry about if it's the right replacement. i hooked the cables up and i have a problem i think i know the answer i just want to read responces first. i sat outside today trying to adjust the cables, what is happening i would adjust the cables in forward everything works good it locks CW and then there is small clicking CCW the clicking wasn't extreme i think it's normal like i have read in other threads, so to move on i shift into neutral prop spin both ways very easy but when i shift into reverse it seems like it's to much into reverse it would lock CCW like it's suppose to, but when i spun it CW and it was clicking very loud and hard to spin, so then i adjusted the cable now in reverse i would get it to work good and worked good in nuetral but in forward it locked CW but CCW it would click very loudly and hard to spin ( i should mention i could spin it but not easly). i should mention it was just as hard to adjust in nuetral also. so my probelm reversed it's self
OK i hope you guys understand that one WHEW!. my question is did i not bungie crod the prop good enough in forward and it move when i joind the upper and lower and do i need to drop the lower and move one thooth
P.S. when i ajUsted the cables i did WOT
