This summer, my sister-in-law came to the local lake to fish with her sons. All the local relative were out of town for they day, so she had to use 80 year old, stone outhouse. She somehow managed to drop her car keys down the hole. With no way to get them out, she asked a local to help "fish" them out. They were successful, but she made a mistake. She told my brother. He was sworn to secrecy. The secret was kept about 2 weeks. Christmas gifts should be interesting this year!

Did I mention Christmas? Our family gives nasty gifts for whatever interesting (stupid) thing someone did during the year. Time for input....I have come up with a glow bobber attached to a key chain and a new kind of lure - a very large tootsie roll with some corn pressed in and a key chain attached.

Time for some sick thinking. What do you all think would work?

We always used a Baby Ruth instead of the Tootsie Roll thingy.

Just add the clapper key finder key chain to the tootsie roll. That should be good for a laugh.

Re: Outhouse Mistake

when we were kids we had gone to Grandpa's house. My sister was with us and she didn't normally go there alot. We got there and he was not there yet. She really had to go to the bathroom real bad so she asked us what do we usually do in that case. We told her we usually went to the outhouse. It was not until after she came out of the unused for years outhouse with cobwebs and all that we told her the rest of the statement "that Grandpa hangs an extra key to the house there"

This is sooo sick and wrong on many levels. I love it. I wish someone in my family would do something like this so I could load the ammo in the gun and go hunting. Personally, I think you are on the right track with the keys attached to a lure and something that looks like a tird. Better if it was a real tird, but you don't want to get too offensive.

Quick thought, you could play a holiday game: who can throw the keys into the toilet hole without hitting the seat rim.:)

You could always paint the corn an appropriate colour AND leave it with some good berley for a week before hand. Don't forget to wrap it in cling wrap.

Back when I was in the military a guy in my platoon had his M16 strapped over his shoulder when he went into an outhouse and when he sat down dropped it into the hole! This was an outhouse built over top of a 10' deep hole, he was definetely in deep sh!t.

Get you some fake Dog poop and as mentioned earlier in the thread> drill a hole in it to fit a key chain on it. Wrap it in a box. Even put a her name on the key chain with a tag saying here is your stinking new key chain. Or get some chocolate jello pudding poke a hole in it and put a key ring on it, at least this way she'll get desert or snack for later on.
