Horsefly,<br /> Homelite/Textron Division(1962-66) sold the rights to the motor to Fisher-Pierce of Rockland,Massachussetts(maker of Boston-Whaler boats)in 1966.Pierce called their product the "Bearcat 55".Prior to this it was the Fageol Products Co. of Kent,Ohio.The latest(auto based) engines are from the English,Coventry Climax Auto up to 85hp.Homelite's model was a 4 cylinder,4 cycle outboard.These motors are inter-changable with the English Crosley car engine.Neat!
