i hear that. it's all about just getting on the water man. however you decide to accomplish it is up to the individual.
i go out on the river every once in a while. i've decided that folks that have much nicer boats than i do are probably having
just as much fun as i'm having. i'm happy too. maybe even happier. my boat don't drink as much as theres do.
yer's drinks less than mine. your probably happier than i am....

Ziggy, that is one great looking boat. Congrats on keeping it running and being used.

I wish that I had the talent/$$ to renovate a boat such as yours. Where I boat, there is an old boat dealer that has a bunch of the older and smaller runabouts just waiting to be rejuvenated and cared for.

thanks for the compliment op. these nineteens are amazingly versitle boats. to bad some mfg. don't take heed and make something like it.

I sold this boat in 2003. I just found this pic today and probably the best I ever had of her. Despite the flash she was a good family boat as long as the water was reasonably flat. Defintitely better on the River than the Lakes . . .

welcome to i boats....

speaking of the bat boat.....we actually have a guy in the restoration forum restoring the bat boat....its a copy of the one used in the 60's tv series. it was built for display and convention purposes....the boat was signed by bat woman.

the guy that is doing the rebuild is darren nemith.

I never reveal the name of the builder unless I am backed into a corner . . . Why? Because California Cool has to be the stupidest boat name I have ever heard. They were a small California "custom" builder, long gone.

I bought her "new" in '95, hull and interior only. She had been sitting as collateral on a loan since '93. I put in a TBI 350 Alpha, 250 propshaft. She ran 60 lightly loaded. Very fun boat. Porpoised badly if you looked at her cross-eyed, and that explains my love affair with helm adjustable trim tabs . . .

She was always the center of attention when we hung out on beaches etc. Mainly because she was low enough that everybody could set their beers down. Kind of a floating coffee table
