Question,
My engine quit in the middle of the lake the other day, several miles from the dock. While observing the motor I noticed the solenoid spit fuel out into the motor compartment. I am thinking I have a clog somewhere? or perhaps the solenoid is bad? I have replaced the plugs with L82c which is a hotter plug than original equipment. I pulled each of them and they were all wet, I dried them the best I could but it did not work. Maybe they are bad again? I will replace them anyway but am baffled by the engine quitting. I suspect a clogged carb but am not sure. I don't think this would cause the engine to quit like it did. Thanks for your help in advance.
